“A goal is a dream with a deadline.”

Hi, I’m Menden!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m so glad you’re here!

I’ve always liked the quote above…I truly believe that if I work towards my dreams one baby step at a time, I’ll reach my goals!  But here’s the problem — I’m pretty darn good at starting projects and not finishing them (can I get an “amen?”).  So I created this blog as my way of keeping track of those baby steps and making sure I finish what I start!

Check out my list of 2012 goals here and 2013 goals here.

Little about me:  I’m in my 30’s but I feel like my life’s just starting to get good 🙂  I love anything related to health and fitness, I love to dance, and I am a closet make-up hoarder artist.  My favorite times are at home when we’re entertaining friends and family, enjoying a great meal and a glass (or bottle) of wine.

I am married to the most handsome and hilarious, ultimate man of my dreams, T:

And we live with our two “fur kids,” Pickles and Pinot:

Follow along on my journey and let’s reach our goals together!

  1. Hi! I noticed you ate at P.F.Changs the other day and ordered the Buddhas Feast. I work at P.F.Changs and I wanted to tell you that dish is not your only option when eating there! Most servers wont tell you this, or even know it, but you can order any of the dishes with no sauce, steamed instead. I personally like the almond and cashew chicken, mandarin chicken, and chicken and broccoli – all with no sauce. Each dish is loaded with protein and vegetables!
    Hope this helps!

    • Hey Erin! I love YOUR blog!! 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting- you should totally do a competition…it’s such an experience, and I’m sure you would be amazing! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions…
